Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Support Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the instructional program, assisting in supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in implementing plans for instruction and monitoring student behavior.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but a degree in education or related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and implement behavioral management programs.
