Job Summary

Morrison Healthcare, a leading national food and nutrition services company, is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Food and Nutrition Services to assist in the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services in an Acute Care Hospital.

This leadership position is responsible for ensuring client and customer satisfaction, efficient cost-effective management, and promoting the professional growth and development of the team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service operations, inventory management, and purchasing, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Maintain excellent relationships with patients, clients, and other departments within the Hospital
  • Assist in fostering strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the food-service department with the facility plan of operations
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field
  • Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian
  • Minimum of one to three years of hospital or adult home/care experience
  • Three to five years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
