Key Responsibilities

As a CT Algorithm Research Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing advanced imaging algorithms tailored for CT clinical applications, scientific investigations, and pre-clinical research. Validate the effectiveness and precision of these algorithms using relevant quantitative metrics.
  • Contributing to the formulation of research and development strategies for innovative CT products. Collaborate with internal development teams and research partners to thoroughly evaluate and test prototypes and new offerings.
  • Maintaining expertise in clinical and technical domains. Regularly update the team on the latest advancements in the CT imaging field and actively pursue new research project opportunities. Assess mature technologies for potential integration into medical imaging products.
  • Engaging in the dissemination of research findings at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications. Safeguard innovations through invention disclosures.

Qualifications

Education

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in CT research with a solid record of scientific publications.
  • Preferred background in medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and/or clinical experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong ambition coupled with effective communication skills.
  • Experience in designing CT reconstruction algorithms.
  • A proactive approach to learning, inquiry, and resourcefulness in identifying innovative applications and creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including short-term international assignments.
