Business Development Manager

About the Role:
This position is responsible for developing new and existing business opportunities within a defined territory for ABM Industries, focusing on Mechanical/HVAC solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the facilities services industry and be able to communicate effectively with clients to identify their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out new business opportunities through cold calls, customer interactions, and networking.
- Identify and execute growth strategies for existing clients.
- Develop and present pricing options for service and maintenance agreements.
- Benchmark partner facilities to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong business partnerships and deliver value-added solutions.
- Generate and deliver impactful proposals and presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities services, specifically Mechanical/HVAC solution selling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead customer engagements and manage the sales cycle.
- Proven ability to build relationships with existing clients and facilitate add-on business.
