Key Responsibilities- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food following approved recipes and production standards, ensuring all deadlines are met based on production orders.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews, and recommending disciplinary action as needed.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information directly to supervisors.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracking product production, consumption, and waste, and informing supervisors when supplies or product are low.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Excellent cooking and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
