Job Summary

About Us

Pinewood Springs, a joint venture mental health and wellness hospital operated by HCA Healthcare's Tristar Health and Maury Regional Medical Center, is seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator RN to oversee the pre-admission assessment process.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls for psychiatry services, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating activities with the Response Department and Senior Leadership.
  • Ensure EMTALA compliance, reporting any concerns to the Response Director immediately.
  • Coordinate communication related to assessments and admissions, ensuring rapid throughput for the emergency department and requesting additional resources as needed.
  • Verify timely completion of assessments by RN/SSR in Response.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to provide data and manage response data accurately.
  • Provide ongoing education, resources, and support to patients and families.
  • Coordinate and participate in admission processes with interested parties and physicians.
  • Model and train behavioral health team members on managing inquiry calls.
  • Track and report key indicators related to calls, assessments, and admissions.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
Compensation Package
