\. We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse with experience in Oncology to join our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring demeanor, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.\.
\. In this role, you will coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care for oncology patients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of treatments and interventions. Your comprehensive assessment skills, combined with your ability to develop individualized care plans, will enable you to effectively manage patient needs and outcomes.\. Key Responsibilities
\. Performs comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time frame, utilizing observation, communication, and examination skills.\. Plans patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes.\. Develops and implements patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge plans as appropriate for the patient population.\. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.\. Demonstrates responsibility for assigned communications and special assignments.\. Maintains healing and therapeutic environments for patients and families.\. Maintains position-specific qualifications and professional certifications.\. Functions independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to areas, evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure, and competency-based assessment.\. Handles, transports, stores, prepares, and administers medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.\. Documents accurately and timely.\. Reassesses patient condition, evaluates patient response, and modifies plan of care accordingly and in a timely manner.\. Accepts charge responsibilities and assigns staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirements, acuity, and complexity of patient's condition.\. Facilitates staff development and maintains work areas and personal appearance in a way that reflects professionalism and demonstrates to patients, visitors, and coworkers the importance of cleanliness, orderliness, and safety.\.
