Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding our existing book of business, and promoting positive on-going client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions to clients.
  • Assess client needs and provide proposals for solutions.
  • Meet retention and growth goals.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and develop strong relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and solutions.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with at least 3 years of related experience; or 5 years of related experience without a degree.
  • Proven track record in closing new business.
  • Advanced design and delivery presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of the employee benefits or property and casualty insurance market.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain within the first three months of hire, an Insurance Producer License.
