About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a driven Lead Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Accounting team. This role is crucial as we scale our operations and foster a collaborative team culture. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this position will engage with various departments across the organization.

In our fast-paced startup environment, you will be responsible for developing processes, addressing challenges, and managing multiple priorities on a daily basis.

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will take charge of essential processes during the month-end close, driving enhancements that will ensure a quicker and more precise reporting cycle.

Your contributions will significantly influence accounting operations, cross-departmental projects, and audit preparedness. The ideal candidate will actively pursue process improvements and cultivate strong relationships throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare intricate journal entries and account reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail and thorough evaluation of results.
  • Proactively analyze account fluctuations and provide insightful feedback to Finance Leadership.
  • Collaborate continuously with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to guarantee the accuracy of financial statements regarding expense recognition, bad debt reserves, and revenue recognition.
  • Review GL transaction details throughout the month to expedite month-end close timelines while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of recorded information.
  • Establish strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional peers, representing the Accounting department with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Prepare timely and precise information to support financial audits, monthly close packages, and quarterly financial review documents.
  • Work alongside the finance department to enhance our reporting packages and flux analysis, focusing on consistency and predictability.
  • Assist Accounting & Finance leadership with special projects and complex analyses.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a dynamic environment is required.
  • 2 years of experience with a large regional or Big Four audit firm is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with NetSuite, Intacct, or Oracle GL is required.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of resolving issues independently while knowing when to seek guidance.

Compensation and Benefits:
