We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hospitality Ambassador to join our team at Auberge Resorts. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner, explaining available items in detail and ensuring their needs are met.
- Order Taking: Record the details of the order from the guest, repeating the order back to the guest to check for accuracy and promptly input the order into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare beverage orders to accuracy and serve each guest using the proper utensils.
- Inventory Management: Ensure all dietary restrictions and/or allergies are noted on the ticket and communicated with culinary, and assist with collecting and situating food orders from the kitchen.
- Financial Transactions: Process cash, credit card, and charge sales for all retail and food and beverage orders, balance tip slips for each server, and run financial reports.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness, wipe and sanitize all work surfaces, door knobs, equipment, pens, etc periodically during your shift, and perform side duties such as restocking condiments, utensils, retail items, beverages, etc.
- Education: Any combination of education that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Experience: Previous hospitality experience preferred.
- Skills: Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team, ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs, and ability to lift/carry 30 pounds.
