About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Ambassador to join our team at Montage International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every interaction with our guests is warm, sincere, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests to the hotel with a warm and genuine smile, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
  • Direct guests and vehicles on the front drive, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.
  • Park and retrieve guest and hotel vehicles, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel rooms, services, and features, and provide guests with accurate and helpful information to enhance their stay.
  • Assist with luggage and provide hotel room orientations, ensuring that guests feel welcome and at ease in their surroundings.
  • Deliver amenities and other items to guest rooms, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Follow hotel guidelines and talking points, ensuring that every interaction with guests is consistent and of the highest quality.
  • This role may also involve driving hotel vehicles off property for short distances to drop off or pick up guests, or to retrieve items as requested.
Requirements
  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Exceptional guest recovery skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Must be willing to participate in a learning environment and integrate company values throughout all interactions.
  • Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, approximately six hours, and to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks. Manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing are also required. The ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis is essential.
