We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Peace Hospital. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical behavioral health and/or substance use services to patients and families. This will include group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and coordinating with community, government, and/or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services.

About the Job

This is a full-time position, working first shift, with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. You will also have opportunities for advancement and professional growth within our organization.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in a behavioral health or human services related field
  • Licensure and certifications, including Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (MFTA), Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor Associate (LCADCA), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
  • BLS required from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or human service setting
