Job Summary

The Intervention Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in carrying out general and specialized intervention programs as well as team member education regarding implementation and monitoring of these interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general and specialized intervention programs
  • Provide team member education on implementation and monitoring of interventions
  • Work with patients aged 12-18, including female forensic patients and patients with developmental delays

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in counseling psychology, psychology, or other closely related health degree
  • In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 5 years clinical experience specifically in mental health
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
  • BLS required from American Heart Association
