Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Louisville Detention Center in Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Perform psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations as required.
- Conduct risk assessments and interventions as necessary.
- Provide behavioral health consultation to the multi-disciplinary clinical team and correctional personnel as directed.
- Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Support and/or direct care coordination efforts for patients returning to the community requiring ongoing behavioral health services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain patient treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of program goals and objectives.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and participate in in-service training programs.
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, records, and reports.
- Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
