Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides nursing care adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols focused on behavioral health. This role requires caring for children, adolescent, and adult patient populations, including those with developmental delays, acute psychiatric diagnosis, and drug and alcohol detox.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients with complex treatment needs, such as intellectual or developmental disabilities accompanied by acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in crisis prevention and intervention training to ensure patient safety.
- Meet the required qualifications, including a Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing, 2 years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
