Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring accurate billing information, and facilitating referrals to specialty care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to patients regarding their accounts, including setting up payment plans and answering questions about bills.
  • Process referrals to specialty care, dieticians, radiology exams, and community resources.
  • Contact patients to schedule appointments and ensure copays and deductibles are adjusted based on patient sliding fee levels.
  • Review sliding fee paperwork for completeness and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records and practice management systems.
  • Answer billing questions from staff, vendors, and patients.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and one year of experience in a medical front office or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
