Job Overview:
BGS Government Services is on the lookout for a Strategic Business Coordinator to assist the P8 Program Manager. This position will serve as the primary liaison with executive leadership, facilitating the integration of various operational aspects and deliverables, including Operational Rhythm, Organizational Optimization, Performance Metrics, and Process Enhancements. The role is crucial in ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization regarding significant matters, collaborating with BGS and BDS programs to achieve business unit objectives, and embodying the agile and customer-focused culture of Boeing Global Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting and implementing strategies, communications, and operational rhythms for the P8 organization within Government Services.
  • Engage with the Program Management team on strategic initiatives and data analysis.
  • Facilitate collaborative efforts among BGS Business Operations, BGS Program Management, BDS Program Management, and other Boeing functional partners to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure alignment with Boeing's processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance standards.
  • Support leadership in various meetings, ensuring efficiency and tracking of action items.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to present program health and requirements to senior executives.
  • Coordinate commitments with stakeholders to fulfill strategic objectives.
  • Exhibit strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Lead the analysis and continuous improvement of management systems.
  • Oversee special projects, ensuring successful coordination and execution on behalf of leadership.
  • Build effective relationships with program leadership, functional partners, and customer representatives.

This role allows for a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence a few days a week.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in relationship management with various stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and integrating business strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience preparing materials for executive-level presentations.
  • Willingness to accommodate non-standard business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership.
  • Experience in metrics and KPI reporting.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
  • Adept at managing complex topics.
