Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician will provide direct patient care, monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and perform various technician duties. This role requires a high level of compassion, empathy, and communication skills to work effectively with patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform various technician duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
