Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita, a clinical leader in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our patients with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Perform technician duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing empathetic and compassionate care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
