Job Summary:

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on our Postpartum Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.

• Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

• Collect and process patient samples, including blood and urine.

• Clean and change bandages as needed.

• Report any changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.

Working under the supervision of the nurse, you will ensure that all tasks are performed safely and correctly. As a PCT/HUC, you will also assist with administrative tasks, such as paperwork and data entry, to help keep our hospital running smoothly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
