Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Aeronautical Systems Engineering team. As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations using CAD tools
- Research and prepare engineering drawings and coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, and Electrical Loads analysis
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical degree at an accredited university
- Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel to and from flight line and work in aircraft hangar environments
- Willingness to travel
- Co-Op/Intern or previous entry-level experience in electrical engineering
- Skills/Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software
- Understanding of basic aircraft systems
- Systems integration experience
