Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting a wide range of human resources duties, including onboarding, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and record retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Manage and update the onboarding process to ensure seamless integration with IT, benefits, payroll, and company culture.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist the HR Manager with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • HR File Management: Create and maintain accurate digital and paper HR files, including personnel, benefits, and confidential departmental files.
  • Performance Management: Manage and maintain the online performance management system and act as the point of contact for performance evaluations.
  • Compliance and Audits: Maintain knowledge of best practices, regulatory compliance changes, and new technologies in HR, compliance, and performance management. Conduct routine audits to assist with compliance issues and recommend corrective action.
  • Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and concerns via phone and email. Coordinate HR initiatives to support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategic plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a non-profit or association setting.
  • SHRM certification required.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and manage conflict in a professional manner.
