About Us

We are an upscale, top-rated dental office located in Brooklyn, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences. Our team of skilled dentists and specialists is committed to providing the highest level of care.

Role Overview

This position bridges the gap between front desk operations, guest services, and financial management, ensuring our dental office remains financially sound. As a Financial Patient Services Specialist, you will communicate effectively with patients about their treatment costs and obligations, explore financial solutions, and ensure timely collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients warmly upon arrival and departure, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Accurately calculate treatment costs and present financial obligations to patients, taking into account insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Ensure timely collection of balances from patients, maintaining open communication and transparency throughout the process.
  • Develop patient-friendly financial solutions, including payment plans and lines of credit, to meet individual needs and budget constraints.
  • Liaise with dental insurance providers to verify eligibility, benefits, and claim payments, ensuring accurate reimbursement and minimizing delays.
  • Schedule patients efficiently for treatments, balancing profitability with flexibility and accommodating last-minute cancellations.
  • Address patient inquiries about treatments, finances, and other concerns, both in-person and via phone/email, providing empathetic and informed support.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records, presenting periodic reports on treatment progress and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of dental insurance plans and policies.
  • Showcase experience in handling phone communications and interacting with diverse patient populations.
  • Exhibit superior customer service skills, combined with excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus, but not required.

We value longevity and seek someone looking for a long-term commitment. If you believe you can contribute positively to our patient experience, we encourage you to submit your application. Please include your resume and a cover letter explaining why you're the ideal fit for this role.
