Position: Senior Financial Reporting Manager

FLSA: Exempt

Schedule: This full-time position is based at the Augustine Institute.

Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000 Annually

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for reviewing, assessing, analyzing, and generating financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role supports internal stakeholders, maintains and updates financial data, and engages with senior leadership. The Senior Financial Reporting Manager aids the Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership Teams in interpreting financial reports and providing insights that facilitate informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various lines of business and departments.
  • Conduct quarterly royalty calculations and reporting.
  • Analyze product revenue and return on investment (ROI).
  • Oversee inventory reporting.
  • Assist with board reporting.
  • Provide support during audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Augustine Institute.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports on general subject matter and business areas, performing basic analysis as needed.
  • Assist with various ad-hoc tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
  • Experience in external auditing is essential.
  • Public accounting experience is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with FASB pronouncements and GAAP is necessary.
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in accounting or finance is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel, including advanced functionalities such as pivot tables and formulas.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, type, use office equipment, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in a climate-controlled office setting.

The compensation range represents the low and high end for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
