Compensation, Benefits, and Advantages for Healthcare Facility Administrator:

- Oversee the financially sustainable operation of the facility. Conduct regular inspections throughout the facility to ensure that optimal resident care is delivered, the environment is safe and sanitary, and that staff are appropriately attired and supervised.
- Create an annual budget reflecting anticipated revenue and expenses.
- Prepare an annual operating budget for approval and strive to meet budgeted earnings expectations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain resident census at optimal levels.
- Enforce all policies established by the organization; provide input during policy formation and report on policy implementation to Leadership.
- Analyze operational results, compare them to set objectives, and take necessary actions to address unsatisfactory outcomes.
- Recruit, hire, manage, and terminate staff while developing and maintaining personnel policies and practices. Oversee the recruitment, evaluation, selection, and training of competent department supervisors and other support staff.
- Ensure the physical property is well-maintained and safe for operation.
- Supervise the financial operations of the facility to ensure optimal collection and expenditure of funds. Ensure all contracts are duly approved.
- Present reports detailing the services and financial activities of the facility along with any required special reports.
- Ensure the facility maintains its accreditation, licensing, and quality resident care through the establishment of quality/performance improvement monitoring programs and standards.
- Develop a plan to achieve the facility's specific objectives and mutually established goals, reviewing and evaluating the plan periodically. This plan should reflect the facility's mission statement and align with its ethical standards and goals.
- Possess knowledge of social, regulatory, political, and economic factors that impact resident care services.
- Engage in public relations and marketing initiatives.
- Foster and uphold a culture of safety and quality throughout the facility.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator License in the state of Missouri.
- Prior experience as an Administrator is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with residents, their families, and all levels of the organization.
- Ability to respond decisively and swiftly in emergency situations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule; the organization operates 24/7.
- Knowledge of state regulations governing both acute and skilled nursing facilities.
