Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring efficient and effective management of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor distribution staff, ensuring all operational tasks such as loading, unloading, receiving, sorting, and inventory control are performed efficiently.
  • Foster a positive work environment by leading through example and promoting teamwork.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Maintain precise inventory levels by leading physical cycle counts and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
  • Provide weekly reports on key performance indicators and operational metrics to management.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern distribution practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Education and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of management experience in warehousing or logistics, with a track record of overseeing teams of 5 to 10 employees. Familiarity with inventory control processes is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
