We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Port Saint Lucie Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical examinations, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat patients, prescribing medications and providing education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve quality care standards and participate in patient safety initiatives.
- Establish professional working relationships with clinical service providers and contribute to the achievement of quality care standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and practices.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligible for certification.
- Active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Florida.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong background in patient care and clinical decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
