Job Summary

My Health Onsite is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our on-site health and wellness centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation and Care
    • Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms
    • Prepare patients for radiology procedures, ensuring proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
    • Log radiological procedures and process routine documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Medical Support and Assistance
    • Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
    • Provide information and assistance to patients
    • Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR
  • Environmental and Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment
    • Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
    • Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
    • Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or Graduation from a Radiology Technician Program
  • Two years of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • ARRT Certification
  • BMO or CRT license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross-trained for light Medical Assistant duties
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Knowledge and Skills
  • Understanding of CPT and ICD10 Codes
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Proficiency with blood draws and injections
  • Experience working with digital imaging
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
  • Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
