Quality Control Inspector Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and Ensure Quality: Conduct thorough inspections of our products to ensure they meet our high standards and customer requirements.
  2. Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with our production team to identify and address any quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future defects.
  3. Develop and Implement Quality Processes: Develop and implement quality processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in our quality control efforts.
  4. Train and Develop Team Members: Train and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  5. Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment: Ensure our workplace is safe and healthy by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a degree in a related field.
  2. Quality Control Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role is required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with experience in quality control software a plus.
