Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our Field Service Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality technical support to our end-users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure adherence to contract requirements
  • Manage shift planning, including on-call rosters and resource productivity
  • Enable team members with training and development opportunities
  • Ensure security compliance and manage inventory levels across locations
  • Resolve service requests and incidents within agreed service levels
  • Plan and execute move requests and project work
  • Lead the team by providing technical and process assistance
  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Perform break-fix, desk-side support, and data migration
  • Provide onsite technical assistance and identify potential issues
  • Manage the ticket queue and ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate with vendors and Level 3 support groups
  • Provide IT support for on-site and off-site events
  • Provide on-call support as required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with various desktop systems, operating systems, and technical environments
  • Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, and VPN
  • Ability to install software and troubleshoot applications
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
  • Flexible for traveling to remote sites or clusters
  • Ability to lift weight up to 30lbs at waist level
