Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. As a member of our collaborative team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their families in our 26-bed level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development
  • Participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing
  • 1 year level III Neonatal Intensive Care RN experience
  • Washington State RN Licensure or active multistate RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Neonatal Resuscitation program (NRP) Certification
Working Conditions

The NICU Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles. The ability to move around the area with frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and kneeling is required.
