Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst II to join our team at Firelands Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting multiple systems and concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage and maintain multiple systems and concurrent projects, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with system vendors and employees, resolving hardware and software problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members from Information Services and external departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Manage system security, user accounts, and access privileges, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Evaluate, plan, schedule, and implement hardware and software upgrades and modifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts with system vendors and Firelands staff, including employees and management from other departments, to achieve project objectives.
  • Evaluate system function, performance, and utilization issues, troubleshooting operating systems problems and initiating corrective action.
  • Provide advanced clinical and business systems support to system users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Communicate ideas, understand and interpret others' ideas, and demonstrate courtesy, consideration, and patience in all interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with FRMC leaders and partners to assess, define, and continually improve information systems capabilities, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Services/Computer Science or Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant IS or healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated willingness, ability, and availability to attend training as requested by supervisor or manager.
  • Achieves professional certifications as requested by manager or supervisor in accordance with all Firelands training policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple computer systems, data storage, and reporting methods, software utilities, and tools, and principles of information management.
  • Demonstrates ability to grasp new and technical concepts quickly, and stay current with technology.
  • Demonstrates analytical abilities, creativity, and attentiveness to detail.
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting in both physical and virtual environments.
