Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst I to join our team at Firelands Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop applications and hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain desktop application software, desktop hardware, and related components
  • Develop and deliver training programs to orient new employees and enhance the skills of existing employees
  • Maintain application and network security, and monitor network infrastructure
  • Provide instruction and advice to staff members from external departments
  • Communicate directly with vendors to resolve problems
  • Install and maintain PC/workstation software, and install, replace, relocate, and maintain PC/workstation hardware and related components
  • Generate and maintain appropriate documentation, and track and report progress on all active projects
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field, or 2 years of equivalent career experience
  • Hardware certification of any type, or Microsoft Windows and/or Microsoft Office certification, is a plus
  • Demonstrates willingness, ability, and availability to attend training as requested by supervisor or manager
  • Demonstrates ability to implement learned skills and abilities through 'on the job' efforts and/or professional certifications
  • Achieves professional certifications as requested by manager or supervisor in accordance with all Firelands training policies and procedures
