Engineering Development Program Overview

Polaris Industries Inc. is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and growth, and our Engineering Development Program is designed to provide recent graduates with the skills and experience needed to succeed in our dynamic and fast-paced industry.

The program offers a unique opportunity for engineering graduates to develop their skills in a variety of areas, including design, development, and manufacturing. Participants will work on cross-functional teams to integrate product design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability, while providing optimal customer-centric products for Polaris.

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to work on complex cross-functional projects, receive technical training courses and projects, and participate in our Annual Summit event in Minnesota. Upon completion of the program, participants may transition into a full-time engineering position within the business, contingent on business needs and the skills and experience demonstrated during the program.

Selection Process:

Applications will be open from September to December 2024. If selected, participants will participate in a MS Teams panel interview with an HR leader and two functional business leaders. Upon accepting an offer, participants will collaborate with the Early Talent team to be matched with their first rotational assignment, team, and location through a thorough matching process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering degree, with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Ongoing geographic flexibility: willingness to travel and relocate between sites for rotations and beyond
  • Active leadership experience in student organizations and/or work experiences with interest to continue to grow leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams
