Job Summary

WWC Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to assist our team with various project tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil, environmental, or transportation engineering, and be able to effectively communicate technical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers and surveyors with daily tasks and projects
  • Perform preliminary designs and calculations as directed by the Project Manager
  • Research and summarize design concepts, regulations, and other requested information
  • Prepare documentation of work completed and report to the Project Manager
  • Assist with field data collection, including survey, soil and water sampling, and photo documentation
  • Develop design and technical reports in support of project completion
Requirements
  • Attending a two-year or four-year college and studying in the field of civil, environmental, or transportation engineering, surveying, computer-aided drafting, environmental sciences, or related fields
  • Embodies WWC Engineering's core values (service, quality, and integrity)
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and communicate effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and needs in a positive manner
