Polaris Engineering Development Program Overview

The Polaris Engineering Development Program is a two-year development program designed for engineering graduates who share our commitment to the design and production of world-class vehicles and powertrains.

Through this program, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills in Polaris Engineering processes, gain a broad-based understanding of the product development cycle, and receive in-depth exposure to our customers and their needs.

You will be given challenging assignments to accelerate your career development for future positions of significant responsibility.

The program will also provide you with the opportunity to establish mentor relationships with our business leadership that will continue throughout your career with Polaris.

Selection Process

Applications will be open from September to December 2024.

If selected, you will participate in a MS Teams panel interview with an HR leader and two functional business leaders.

Upon accepting an offer, you will collaborate with the Early Talent team to be matched with your first rotational assignment, team, and location through a thorough matching process.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related Engineering degree with an intended graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Willingness to travel and relocate between sites for rotations and beyond
  • Active leadership experience in student organizations and/or work experiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship/co-op experience
  • Previous leadership experience in work, organizations, or classroom
  • Education and/or experience in applying embedded controllers
  • Highly developed computer skills using electrical engineering software
  • Fundamental software programming skills
  • Basic analog and digital circuit analysis and design
  • Experience with mechanical systems and engines
  • Basic electric machine and magnetics skills
  • Power electronics skills
  • Battery, energy storage, power management skills
