Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at San Diego Gas & Electric. As a key member of our Supply Operations team, you will be responsible for executing contract-related activities and processes associated with the procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Execution: Prepare and execute contract-related documents, including contract amendments, change orders, and contract release orders.
  • Procurement Support: Receive requisitions, develop and execute requests for quotations, and lead negotiations for low-value materials and services.
  • Category Management: Assist with the development and implementation of purchasing strategies for low-value materials and/or services assigned that meet company requirements.
  • Client Support: Meet with internal clients regularly to understand client needs and to strengthen client relationships.
  • Training and Development: Train clients in formal training settings and informally through ongoing contact in proper contract management and administration policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records to demonstrate that proper protocol was followed in the sourcing and contracting processes and the implementation of the supplier relationship.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$50-$65 per hour.
