As a Well Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with equipment rig up and rig down, preparing and operating well testing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with equipment rig up and rig down on each well under the guidance of the Senior Operator/Supervisor
• Prepare and operate well testing equipment, including shutdown systems, switchgear, generators, and compressors
• Ensure that all procedures are followed in accordance with safety precautions and practices required and that equipment is operated within its limitations
• Perform visual operating checks and ensure correct operating procedures are followed on all equipment and systems
• Discuss repair/maintenance actions with Supervisor for reporting duties and system utilization records
• Stand in for Senior Operator when needed
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness while complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2-3 years' experience as a well testing trainee preferred
• Completion of Intermediate Well Testing training school
• Bilingual preferred, ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Work Environment:

The Well Testing Specialist will work in a field-based position, exposed to various outside weather conditions. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to loud for extended periods of time.
