Human Resources Assistant

Central Wire, a leading manufacturer of premium quality wire, rope, and assemblies, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our fast-paced Human Resources team in Pomfret Center, CT.

Job Summary

The HR Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Department, focusing on compiling and maintaining personnel records, coordinating new hire and termination processes, training records, and tracking multiple programs within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Assist with recruiting efforts and support the preparation of performance reviews
  • Manage personnel records, files, and data entry, including E-Verify and I-9 documentation
  • Coordinate open enrollment and employee benefits
  • Assist with employee onboarding, training, and development
  • Support the HR Manager with various projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce Platform is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
