At The Vascular Care Group, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Leominster, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients and referring providers with inquiries and concerns, directing them to the appropriate staff member as needed
  • Verify patient eligibility and insurance prior to appointments, obtaining referrals or authorizations as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone calls and correspondence
  • Collect co-pays and co-insurance, as well as past due balances, and set up payment plans as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of administrative experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
