Office Administrator/Care Extender

As an Office Administrator/Care Extender at Hanger, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that is committed to empowering human potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer front office activities, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
Provide administrative support to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources, including scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance authorization, and maintaining patient records.
Utilize strong communication skills to interact with diverse populations, including patients, clinicians, and other staff members.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating a resourceful and flexible approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Less than 1 year of customer service, administration, or related experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Proficient computer skills, including Windows-based office technologies and automated billing systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with a high degree of detail orientation.
