Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to take on a pivotal role in managing large-scale environmental and water/wastewater infrastructure projects. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in challenging environments and understands the connection between project success and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of significant water/wastewater and environmental infrastructure initiatives.
• Formulate and implement effective procedures for project planning, design, and construction management to achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee project financials, ensuring adherence to budgets, costs, and contingencies.
• Provide comprehensive financial progress reports at the project level.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, guiding them from inception through to successful completion.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Engage in water/wastewater assessments and design, as well as multi-disciplinary civil and environmental evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the engineering consulting sector is essential.
• Familiarity with Design/Build project management is advantageous.
• Experience with both commercial and governmental projects is a plus.
• Proven expertise in designing environmental and water/wastewater systems, including treatment facilities and pumping systems.
• Professional registration as a PE in Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure within two months of hire is mandatory.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
