About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a seasoned Professional Engineer to lead the development and implementation of large-scale water/wastewater or environmental infrastructure projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client objectives.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost control, and contingency planning.
  • Provide project-level financial progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead multiple, concurrent projects from development through construction completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering consulting with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience conducting or managing Design/Build projects is a plus.
  • Experience with commercial and governmental projects is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge and background of treatment equipment and pumping systems.
  • Experience working on and leading proposal preparation and technical deliverables.
  • Professional registration in Virginia (PE) or ability to obtain comity licensure within 2 months of hire.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
  • Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency delivering technical and business presentations.
  • Successful past performance directing and supervising subcontractors.
