The ideal candidate for this role will be results-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated, possessing the expertise and skills necessary to manage plumbing projects ranging from $1,500 to $8,000,000.


Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Plumbing Project Manager is to provide comprehensive oversight for the field installation of assigned projects.

This role reports directly to the General Superintendent and encompasses responsibilities for field labor management, labor coordination, quality assurance, and safety compliance on assigned projects.

The Plumbing Project Manager serves as the representative of Weldon Mechanical Corporation on-site, ensuring that installations are executed as designed and meet the contractual obligations.


  • Fully accountable for the quality of project installations
  • Review submittals for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify potential change orders and communicate them to the General Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Foster customer relations
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings
  • Participate in cost/job reviews
  • Schedule workforce
  • Supervise multiple foremen
  • Interpret plumbing and HVAC schematics for installation
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site activities
  • Perform material take-offs and timely ordering of tools, materials, and equipment to enhance field productivity
  • Coordinate installation efforts among trades and manage subcontractor progress
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies among all on-site personnel
  • Schedule equipment deliveries and oversee inspections by regulatory authorities
  • Administer construction contracts
  • Monitor labor reporting, conduct job cost reviews, and prepare timesheets and two-week forecasts
  • Ensure project completion on time and within budget

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of verifiable experience as a Plumbing Project Manager with a valid state plumbing license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, preferably with mid-sized projects
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Med-gas experience is advantageous
