Client Support Operations Specialist

The Client Support Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing departmental performance by providing ongoing assistance to Stifel's branch offices. This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of departmental topics, including application assistance, training, and general operational inquiries. Collaboration with team members, branch personnel, and clients is essential to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver phone support with a strong emphasis on customer service, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and guidelines.
- Expertly address industry-related inquiries, branch protocols, and investigate branch questions while safeguarding Stifel's information.
- Recognize potential challenges and escalate issues to departmental leadership when necessary.
- Foster effective communication skills within the department and among Stifel branch staff.
- Provide timely updates regarding the status of job responsibilities to leadership.
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across different areas of the firm.
- Handle a significant volume of incoming calls while maintaining accurate records of caller interactions.
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service through both written and verbal communication.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards callers at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in handling phone interactions and active listening.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Willingness to learn Stifel's applications, industry regulations, and policies relevant to the department and branches.
- Basic understanding of financial services applications, systems, terminology, and procedures.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum Required: 0-2 years of experience in a business-related role.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with internet browsers, including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, and Safari.
- Knowledge of Thomson One, BETA, and Salesforce is advantageous.
