Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our team, providing exceptional support to our Financial Advisors and their teams. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external constituents to resolve margin and money movement issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Become an expert in our account opening process, custody and clearing providers, advisory platform, forms management, and reporting.
  • Be proactive in a fast-paced environment, providing fast, accurate service and problem resolution.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of assigned processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to organize work and prioritize tasks to manage business priorities.
  • Able to follow a defined process and work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Driven to learn and grow, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in brokerage and client services/operations.
  • General understanding of securities regulations and operations.
  • Strong demonstrated focus on providing exceptional client service, with excellent intra-personal skills and proficiencies with written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
