Job Description

CHEP is a leading global provider of supply chain solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Office Coordinator to join our team. As an Office Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service center, providing administrative support to our plant manager and regional directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality administrative functions, ensuring all company policies are followed and effective communication between peers, managers, and customers.
  • Implement administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitor administrative projects.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including payroll, production reporting, inventory reconciliation, and shipping and receiving.
  • Indirectly supervise administrative employees within assigned plant.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including employee file maintenance, mail sorting and processing, and answering phones.
  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Facilitate operational requirements by scheduling and completing administrative projects.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type and use a computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software.
