Responsibilities/Duties:
Accountable for generating new business for Firstrust. Remains attentive to customer and prospect needs to recommend suitable business and consumer services. Actively markets and promotes banking products to both potential and existing clients. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of corporate offerings to suggest appropriate solutions.

Utilizes time effectively to develop relationships with current clients, centers of influence, and prospects. Secures new loans and deposits through the execution of a calling strategy.

Primary responsibility includes achieving small business loan, deposit targets, and other sales objectives as outlined by branch performance metrics.


Establishes strong collaborations with Business Banking, Consumer Lending, Commercial Lenders, Private Banking, Mortgage Officers, and other internal partners to meet or exceed customer expectations.


Allocates time wisely to ensure ongoing sales efforts, formulates strategies to achieve monthly results, and is accountable for reaching these targets.


Develops and executes a strategic plan while continuously assessing branch performance with an Assistant Manager or other senior team members concerning all objectives.

Monitors loan, deposit, new account, referral, and balance sheet targets to ensure consistent performance results. Also, oversees fee income, waivers, and income & expense targets and outcomes.

Evaluates and submits branch approval requests for fee waivers beyond the branch's authority limits.


Embraces technology and Customer Relationship Management systems to manage all branch leads and opportunities for themselves and their team.


Ensures branch operations comply with all Bank audit and security protocols and adheres to federal regulatory standards.

Achieves audit objectives.


Manages the professional development plans for all branch team members, including specific training related to product knowledge, sales, customer service, compliance, operations, and/or technical training.

This includes participation in required meetings by job family, Operations review sessions, and/or sales debrief calls. Conducts and delivers annual performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans/warnings as necessary. Approves time off, branch schedules, and timesheets to optimize customer service. Interviews candidates for open roles.

Oversees the monitoring of teller discrepancies, new account exceptions, loan exceptions, and overall branch cash levels.

Manages all aspects of branch presentation, including facilities, signage, and employee attire in accordance with the Firstrust appearance standards. .

Holds self and others accountable. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Firstrust Mission and Values.


Fosters a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to outstanding service, specifically embracing and demonstrating customer service strategies.

Exhibits teamwork through adaptability and maintains effective communication with other departments to achieve Community Banking objectives and goals.

Collaborates with all areas of the Bank to provide seamless service to our clients.

Essential Functions:
Team advocate for all sales, service, and Firstrust strategic initiatives. Communicates to staff on new policies and procedures and ensures adherence. Effectively conveys and implements the bank's overall mission and vision.


Achieve business loan and deposit targets and other performance metrics by making calls, networking, and building a necessary pipeline to meet objectives.

Drives consumer loan production through daily outreach, pipeline management, and customer profiling.

Will mentor branch employees on consultative sales through real-time coaching observations.

Provides guidance and direction to all staff members and ensures their development through one-on-ones, coaching, counseling, and training. Takes an active role in the development of personnel and is always striving to enhance their performance.

Encourages and supports the training and development of the team in both retail and business products and services.

Formulates strategies to meet monthly sales/service goals along with profitability targets. The manager will clearly communicate the employees' daily, weekly, and monthly objectives


Schedule appointments, manage pipelines, actively participate in external networking opportunities that lead to business generation, attends Business Banking Meetings as well as other meetings as required.

Branch Manager will consistently set a positive example in all areas of leadership.

Responsible for ensuring the staff knows and complies with all audits, security, and compliance policies and procedures. Specifically, those updated and communicated within our weekly Community Banking Operations newsletter.

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities:
Must be a self-driven, proven leader with a history of delivering consistent sales outcomes. This includes driving branch performance and nurturing a high-performing team.

More than 5 years of successful branch management experience required.

High School diploma required, 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.

A working knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures which impact retail and business services.

A thorough understanding of the features and benefits of all Bank retail products and services.

Advanced PC Literacy

Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems preferred.

May be licensed to sell alternative investments and insurance (not required).
