Role Responsibilities:

This role involves delivering expert advice and comprehensive financial solutions to sophisticated Business Banking clients and prospects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of complex clients with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $50 million, assisting them in their financial needs.
  • Acquiring, nurturing, and sustaining profitable client relationships through effective sales strategies and relationship enhancement.
  • Analyzing financial statements and cash flow to evaluate the financial health of businesses and identify industry trends.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders within the bank, including Investment Banking and Wealth Management, to provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Engaging in discussions with clients about their industries, capital structures, and business challenges.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to peers, utilizing leadership capabilities.
  • Adapting to evolving sales practices and market conditions as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending, business development, and portfolio management within the business banking sector.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients with annual revenues between $5 million and $50 million.
  • A proven history of successful sales and business development.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and assess business conditions.

Desired:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
