As a key member of our sales team, the National Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth with commercial and non-commercial national accounts. This role will focus on building strong relationships with headquarters and securing profitable product agreements that meet our territory sales plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase national account sales.
- Collaborate with the Savor Brands procurement team and Dot Foods departments to execute new product placements and LTO campaigns.
- Work closely with the Dot Foods National Account Sales team to enhance our value proposition at national accounts.
- Attend industry conferences and meetings to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
- Manage national account contract pricing and negotiate agreements that meet our business objectives.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and identify opportunities for growth.
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in our sales processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the foodservice industry.
- Five years of sales experience in the foodservice industry, with a focus on national accounts.
- Excellent communication, consultative selling, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and CRM tools.
- Experience selling specialty food products to commercial and non-commercial national accounts.
- Ability to develop and work within budgets.
- Culinary skills or experience in the food industry.
